On April 6 our dreams finally came true! Luz and Robin arrived at the Peoria airport at about 7PM. 

Thursday April 5 Luz and Robin left their home in Olongapo to travel to Manila for their trip to America. They arrived in Manila late in the afternoon and checked into the hotel LaCorona for the night. Luz and Robin found an internet cafe for one last chat with me. I will not miss communicating with her via the internet! 

Friday morning they went to the airport in Manila and negotiated the mad-house that is the Manila airport. They finally got through all the checks and security to arrive at their gate.

Their plane left at 8 AM and they were off to their new life in America!! Their first stop was Nagoya Japan. They had a 3 hour lay-over there.

After the lay-over they had an 11 hour flight to Minneapolis where they were going to have their immigration check.

They made it through immigrations without a problem. Because of bad weather in the east their airplane to Peoria was delayed by more than  3 hours. This gave them a chance to roam around the airport in Minneapolis for 6 hours while they waited.

After the delays they were able to board their plane to Peoria! After a short 2 hour flight they arrived at the Peoria airport and into my arms!!

Our journey is complete! Words cannot express the joy and happiness that this day brought!
